Bereavement Service Administrator

We are looking for a discreet, proactive and experienced Administrator to:

  • ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our newly set up COVID-19
    bereavement counselling service through excellent administration and
    office management
  • work closely with and support the Project Lead to ensure effective
    management and organisation of the service.
    Duties are varied and include:
  • overseeing service management: welcoming visitors to the premises (once
    we return to working in the office); handling client queries over email and
    telephone and ensuring messages are dealt with efficiently and in a timely
    manner; booking client appointments; handling correspondence for
  • maintaining effective information management systems within the
    counselling service including the office calendar, attendance records, and
    client waiting list with guidance from the Project Lead
  • managing and updating of database systems and clinical information as
  • responding to enquiries, safeguarding communication pathways and
    managing the caseload on the database system.
  • assisting in the collection and registration of data for monitoring purposes
    and statistical reports
  • overseeing the work of office volunteers and temporary staff
  • attending staff meetings, line management meetings and training where
  • performing any other ad hoc duties required to ensure the effective running
    of the service, as required by the Project Lead
